{"id":618,"date":"2023-12-05T10:53:07","date_gmt":"2023-12-05T10:53:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/horizontravel.ge\/en\/?p=618"},"modified":"2023-12-05T10:53:09","modified_gmt":"2023-12-05T10:53:09","slug":"weekend-in-georgia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/horizontravel.ge\/en\/weekend-in-georgia\/","title":{"rendered":"WEEKEND IN GEORGIA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">1 day<\/mark><\/strong><br><strong>Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel.<\/strong><br>The first taste of Georgian cuisine is <strong>lunch at a national restaurant<\/strong>, where you will be offered to taste the most famous dishes of Georgian national cuisine and drink Georgian wine.<br>Getting to know a city full of life &#8211; this is how <strong>Tbilisi <\/strong>will greet you.<br>We will visit: the <strong>Metekhi plateau<\/strong>, from where a view of the old city opens, the <strong>Narikala Fortress <\/strong>of the 4th century, the <strong>Bath Quarter<\/strong>, the <strong>Square of 3 Churches <\/strong>(a place where an Orthodox church, a synagogue and a mosque coexist nearby). We will walk through the old streets, with many cafes, galleries, souvenir shops, etc. We will also see a modern glass bridge &#8211; a symbol of friendship and peace, which connects the narrow streets of the Old Town with Rike Park.<br>We go up the funicular, from where the whole city is visible at a glance. There we will also visit <strong>Mount Mtatsminda<\/strong>, which translates as \u201cHoly Mountain\u201d, where we will visit the <strong>Church of St. David <\/strong>and see the grave of <strong>A.S.
